We are pleased to announce that the ISIAQ Summer School will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026. This one-day program is specifically designed for PhD and Masters students seeking to elevate their expertise and problem-solving skills in the field of indoor air quality. Through a series of interactive workshops, participants will engage in an innovative pedagogical experience where students will learn how to bridge the gap between theory and practice to solve indoor air quality problems. Moreover, this Summer School will enable students to improve their academic writing skills and to explore diverse career paths and forge lasting connections with professionals and peers. Cognitive Growth for Value-Oriented Indoor Air Problem-Solving

This summer school offers an innovative pedagogical experience in which participants enhance their cognitive abilities through a learning journey that breaks cognitive barriers and uses developed mental models to navigate a realistic indoor air problem scenario. The enhanced cognitive abilities include critical and reflective thinking, abstract reasoning, logical deduction, and creative imagination. By cultivating higher-order thinking and value-oriented reasoning, this summer school provides a distinctive platform for developing the capability to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Participants will leave with an enhanced mindset that strengthens ability to deliver healthy indoor air solutions which optimise healthy living and promote value-oriented outcomes for all stakeholders.
